If you're searching for a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy stunning views in Mardin, look no further than Tas Ev Cafe. This charming cafeteria, nestled on Cumhuriyet Cd No:249, offers more than just great coffee – it serves up an experience that lingers in your memory long after you leave.

The ambiance is inviting and friendly, making it the perfect place to relax with a book or catch up with friends. Picture yourself sipping on a rich, aromatic cup of coffee as you gaze out over the breathtaking landscapes, including sweeping views that extend all the way to Syria. A customer named Matt Hatter noted, “Had coffee here every morning while I was in Mardin. Coffee was great, and so is the view.” This perfectly captures the tranquil vibe of Tas Ev Cafe – where every sip comes paired with a picturesque backdrop.

While the coffee is a standout feature, the menu also boasts some delectable options. For those looking to indulge in local flavors, the menemen, a traditional Turkish egg dish, comes highly recommended. As highlighted by Petr Janáček, “[it’s] one hell of a menemen with awesome views of Syria. Awesome!” Such heartfelt praise emphasizes the cafe’s ability to deliver both culinary and aesthetic pleasure.

For casual diners, the menu includes grilled meatballs and hamburgers made with the same savory meat, though some guests feel the food could match the views in flair. Still, as Amelia Simkins points out, the ambiance is what truly sets Tas Ev Cafe apart – “the views are amazing... you can catch a breeze.”

What’s more, prices are reasonable, making it accessible for everyone. As Ayse Semerci mentions, “average prices, splendid view, delicious egg and gozleme options” highlight the café’s appeal, providing a combination of delicious bites and stunning vistas that’s hard to beat.

The friendly personnel at Tas Ev Cafe enhance the experience, welcoming guests with warm smiles and impeccable service. Whether you’re a breakfast enthusiast relishing a classic Turkish breakfast or someone seeking a cozy afternoon coffee, the staff is always on hand to ensure you feel right at home. Firuza İminova sums it up nicely: “Nice place with Mesopotamia view, friendly personal and good food.”

In summary, Tas Ev Cafe is not just a cafeteria; it’s a delightful escape that serves great coffee and provides unforgettable views. With its location in the heart of Mardin, it’s an ideal spot for travelers and locals alike to recharge. So, pull up a chair, sip on that exquisite coffee, and soak in the beauty that surrounds you. You won’t regret it!

The food is honestly nothing to write home about. The "hamburger" appears to use the same meat as the "grilled meatballs" (both in size and flavor) but the views are amazing, there's an electrical outlet conveniently located (important for me), where you can catch a breeze. Also, this café is close to where I'm staying. Zor spas!

Wonderful little gem on the main road. The prices are cheaper compared to other places nearby and the food and service is if anything much better! Oh and the view!
